The winning entry in the First Annual Young Playwrights Contest, Atlas tells the story of a young writer, Michael Robertson, whose life and work are crippled by his struggle with obsessive-compulsive disorder. Can attorney Victoria Schatz, the love of his life, save him from himself, or must he learn on his own how to more comfortably carry the weight of the world on his shoulders?
About the Playwright: Ari Berman is a Senior at the Harvard-Westlake School in Studio City, California. She is also the author of Zamena, a play based on the true story of the artist Degas and his model Marie.
